How to lay a gravel patio ? How we prepare to lay a gravel patio 

  Gravel Patio Project Summary 

 

1. Choose your decorative gravel.  ( Don’t let us choose for you! ) Remember that SAFE-FER Landscaping is limited to recommendations and guiding you through the process. 

 

2. We Mark the area for your gravel patio. 

 

3. Dig  gravel patio area to at least 4 inches deep. 

 

4. Prepare any borders or border details. 

 

5. Compact the base and add a layer of ITV Type 1 crushed limestone. 

 

6. Add a layer of weed preventative membrane.
